The HTC Tattoo is particularly interesting as it‚the first Android device aimed at the trendy mid-range youth market. It also includes the full implementation of HTC‚Sense Experience, exactly as it appears on the HTC Hero, which is incredibly user-friendly with seven customisable home-screens and excellent social networking integration. Hardware,Beyond running on a superb OS, the Tattoo offers all the latest connectivity options; Quad Band GSM, 3G HSDPA,Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and Bluetooth 2.0. It‚powered by the same 528 MHzQualcomm processor as HTC‚three other Androids. Also on offer is a 3.5 mm jack, an accelerometer, a 3.2 megapixel camera and GPS support with A-GPS.
The Tattoo is the first Android device to feature a resistive touch-screen, basically being activated via pressure. The touch experience is consequently a little frustrating, especially when typing via the onscreen QWERTY in portrait mode. The device‚smallish 2.8" screen and average native resolution of 240 x 320 don‚Äôt help things either.
